幼少期を米国で過ごす。8歳で帰国後、独学で英語の学習を続ける。関西学院大学国際学部卒。在学中にトロント大学へ1年間交換留学。卒業後は会社員を経て、通訳者養成学校へ入学。在籍時より日英通訳・翻訳者としての活動を開始。Asian Performing Arts Farm 2020「アートトランスレーターアシスタント」プログラムへの参加をきっかけにアートの現場での活動を広げる。アーティスト・イン・レジデンス「PARADISE AIR」アシスタントコーディネーター。

Yuki Harukawa is a Japanese-English interpreter/translator mainly working in the field of arts and culture. She spent four years of her childhood in the U.S. She graduated from the School of International Studies at Kwansei Gakuin University and studied at University of Toronto as an exchange student for one year. After a period of working at a Japanese company, she began her career as a freelance interpreter/translator while attending an interpreter training school. She participated in Tokyo Festival APAF’s Art Translator Assistant program in 2020. She is a member of Art Translators Collective, a group of translators and interpreters specializing in the field of arts, and is an assistant coordinator at PARADISE AIR, an artist-in-residence program.
