演出家、ドラマトゥルク。1993年テキサスに生まれ、その後青森に育つ。東京／横浜を拠点に、自身が代表をつとめるカンパニー「抗原劇場」で演劇作品を創作しながら、翻訳家／通訳者として、主として舞台芸術の国際協働や交流の現場をサポートしている。ワークショップ、シンポジウム、レクチャーなどでの通訳や、国際招聘公演の技術通訳として、多くの演目に携わっている。そのほか、字幕作成や芸術／教育分野の論文翻訳なども手がける。
2019年、シンガポールの老舗劇団、実践劇場の若手育成事業「Artist Farm 2019」にドラマトゥルクとして参加。東京学芸大学大学院総合教育開発専攻修了。

Kyle Yamada is a director and dramaturg. Born 1993 in Texas, Kyle spent most of his childhood years in the snowy coasts of Aomori, Japan. He is currently based in Yokohama, where he works as artistic director of the performing arts group, Allergen Theatre. As a translator and interpreter, Kyle has supported a number of international projects in the field of performing arts by interpreting for workshops, lectures, symposiums and high-stake afternoon coffees, translating academic papers and theatre texts, creating subtitles, and knowing the best bars and restaurants in the vicinity of almost any major theatre building in the Tokyo/Yokohama area. He is a graduate of Tokyo Gakugei University, Graduate School of Education.
